The Emergency Department at South Coast Medical Center is contracted with the California Emergency Physicians (CEP), the largest provider of physician staffing for emergency departments in the state of California. Founded by career emergency physicians in 1975, CEP is dedicated to providing the best in physician management and emergency medical care for the patients treated in our client hospitals. With 53 Emergency Departments and 19 ambulatory practices, CEP provides emergency and unscheduled care to over 1.8 million patients annually in California.
