James Quandt Elected to South Coast Medical Center Board

Nationally recognized business leader James Quandt has been elected to the South Coast Medical Center Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Quandt brings over three decades of executive business management experience to the foundation. Currently, he is the Founder and Principal of Thomas James Capital Incorporated in San Juan Capistrano, which is a recognized Private Equity and Mortgage Banking firm focusing on creating value through highly specialized mortgage origination activities. Previously, Mr. Quandt served in high profile positions, including President of the Standard and Poors Corporation, Chairman of Bridge Financial Information, and President of Security Pacific Brokerage, Inc.

“Jim Quandt brings years of executive management experience to our board,” said Elizabeth Schneider, Executive Director of the South Coast Medical Center Foundation. “In addition, he has extensive relationships in a variety of high-level circles in Orange County that will prove invaluable to the hospital’s future success.”

Mr. Quandt also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Saint Mary’s College (where he attended college) and is the immediate past President of the Pacific Club of Newport Beach. He has also served on a number of public and private Boards, including Intermix Media/MySpace, Blue Label Interactive, and Digital Orchid Incorporated.
