Peter Craig Elected to Hospital’s Board
Peter Craig of Laguna Niguel has joined the South Coast Medical
Center Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Craig brings over
20 years of business development experience – from start-up
companies to NASDAQ listed public companies to non-profit entities – to
the Board.
Currently, Mr. Craig is Chairman of Valicore Technologies, Inc.,
an Irvine, California, technology services company, and is Past
Chairman of the Forum for Corporate Directors of Orange County.
He also serves on the Executive Committee of the AeA (formerly
the American Electronics Association) Orange County Council and
recently completed a two-year term on the AeA National Board of
Directors.
“Peter Craig brings strong Orange County community ties
to our Board,” said Elizabeth Schneider, Executive Director
of the SCMC Foundation. “His business leadership will be
invaluable for the hospital.”
Mr. Craig has extensive operating experience in the electronics
and software industry, principally for IT infrastructure and enterprise
applications products and services. He has held senior operating
executive positions for products and services in marketing, product
management, sales, manufacturing operations and product development.
From 1984 through 1999, Mr. Craig was Vice Chairman of Rainbow
Technologies, Inc., an Irvine based provider of information security
products. From 1993 to 1997, and again from 2005 to 2007, Mr. Craig
served on the National Board of Directors of the American Electronics
Association.
South Coast Medical Center serves the communities of Laguna Beach,
Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Laguna Niguel and
Aliso Viejo.
