Tickets and Tables Still Available for Hospital Fashion Show

Tickets and tables are still available to South Coast Medical Center’s 13th annual fashion show & luncheon, “Steppin’ Into Spring.” Held at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point, the show will be held on Friday, April 25th and is expected to draw over 300 guests. The silent auction will begin at 11:30am. Tickets are $100 per person and sponsorships begin at $1,500.   

Presented by the Women’s Advisory Council and the Auxiliary, the 2008 fashion show will feature many SCMC physicians walking down the runway, including Dr. Red Alinsod, Dr. Nicole Carlberg, Dr. Michael Coccia, Dr. Jake Cornett, Dr. Glenn Goldberg, Dr. Kenneth James, Dr. Gabor Kovacs, Dr. Elizabeth Lyster, Dr. Arian Mowlavi, Dr. Robert Pettis, Dr. Brian Quebbemann and Dr. Christopher Vanley. Additional models will include Dana Point Council Member Diane Harkey, Orange County Treasurer Chriss Street and his wife, Victoria, and Gracie Boyd, wife of the late Hopalong Cassidy. Dana Point Mayor Joel Bishop will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

“The SCMC fashion show has always been one of our most popular fundraisers and tickets are going fast for this much-anticipated event,” said Kate Mullins Buda, Assistant Executive Director, SCMC Foundation. “I can’t think of a better early Mother’s Day gift for someone’s wife or mother.”

South County boutiques Monarch Silks and Fuller’s for Men will provide the fashions. Silent auction items include jewelry, original art, a ride-along with the Laguna Hills Fire Department, and box seats and dinner for a private party of 10 at the Honda Center.
