Christopher Duma, M.D.
Dr. Christopher Duma serves as one of the Co-Medical Directors
of SCMC's Movement Disorders Program. He has been surgically treating
movement disorders for more than 14 years and is affiliated with
Hoag Hospital, where he serves as the chairman of the Neurosurgery
Department. Dr. Duma's sub-specialty is also in movement disorders.
He also specializes in gamma knife radiosurgery.
In the surgical treatment of movement disorders, Dr. Duma performs
Deep Brain Stimulation
(DBS) surgery at South Coast Medical Center.
Dr. Duma graduated from the medical school of State University
of New York at Stony Brook, and did both his internship and residency
at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He also did
a Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Presbyterian Hospital.
